ISUZU IN GLOBAL (NEWS & AWARDS)

Enthusiastic crowds at motor shows and more trophies from annual awards programs have proved once again  that the reputation of Isuzu's light commercial vehicles (LCVs) is alive in countries such as Thailand and the United Kingdom. 

In Thailand, Tri Petch Isuzu Sales exhibited no less than 13 LCVs during the 40th Bangkok International Motor Show.  The exhibition, which took place at the Impact Muang Thong Thani event complex from March 25 to April 7, attracted 1.6 million visitors. The Isuzu booth presented nine D-MAX and four mu-X models, each equipped with either  a 1.9 liter or a 3.0 liter diesel engine. 

Running up to the show, the winners of Car of the Year Thailand 2019 were annouced on March 1. As in previous years, Grand Prix International organized the awards program as well as the motor show. This year, Isuzu raked in an impressive eight trophies, including the Most Popular Pickup award for the D-MAX 1.9 Ddi Blue Power.

In the UK, distributor Isuzu UK showcased seven D-MAXs at Commercial Vehicle Show 2019, the UK's largest commercial vehicle exhibition. The show  was held at the NEC event complex in Birmingham from April 30 to May 2. Isuzu presented three models fitted for fleet customers in different industries and one fitted for police work. During the show, Isuzu UK received trophies for the D-MAX from two UK magazine; Trade Van Driver named the D-MAX the Best Workhorse Pickup 2019, the seventh straight year that the popular pickup has been so honored, and Professional Pickup & 4x4 selected the D-MAX as the Working Pickup of the Year 2019.
